Building and Sustaining Relationships with Key Stakeholders
We have a track record of developing excellent relationships with owners and builders resulting in projects running smoothly. The MU Group team focus on providing information to make the owner comfortable and confident with MU Group and the NAP delivery process. We understand a transparent working relationship is crucial and delivers the best outcomes.
MU Group is prequalified on the TfNSW Panel of Architectural Advisory Consultants, which enables us to provide acoustic treatment to properties exposed to high levels of road traffic noise.
How we deal with difficulties
MU Group has developed a reputation for delivering solutions to customer issues, managing customer concerns in a very proactive and outcome focussed way.
01
MU Group successfully resolved several conflicts and issues with builders and property owners at previous NAP projects including more recently at Greystanes, where due to a severe breakdown in the relationship between the builder and homeowner MU Group stepped in, attending the site, supervising the builder and liaising with the owner until the works were completed and the homeowner was satisfied.
02
On the Blue Mountains NAP project, MU Group researched suitable cost-effective treatments such as door treatments and the screening of windows to protect the house from the ingress of embers. MU Group has also adopted the replacement of window sashes via the insert method which allowed the reglazing of the window without replacing the entire window frame. We also worked with TfNSW to develop scoping requirements for Bush Fire Attack for the NAP program.
Other examples of issues and risks identified we resolved :
- Technical issues involving acoustic treatments, air-conditioning, ventilation and building structures.
- Management processes for public housing.
- Managing Real estate agents on behalf of the owner.
- Building issues such as damage and sub-standard building construction.
- Structural and Electrical inspections.
- Management of work involving asbestos.
- Builder who abandoned a contract.
- Builder and homeowner disputes.
Client Feedback
“MU Group has collaborated and communicated well on recent (NAP) projects. Alf particularly, initiated regular meetings to identify and resolve any issues. When issues did arise, these were managed well, and customers provided positive feedback”
