MU Group's
RAP Initiatives

We believe it is crucial for businesses to actively participate in reconciliation. Drawing from our own values of integrity, collaboration, innovation and delivery, MU Group is working closely with Reconciliation NSW to deliver our Innovate RAP initiatives.

WSU Aspire Program

MU Group have signed a 5-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the WSU Indigenous Engineering Aspire Program – an internship aimed at supporting the career development of aspiring Indigenous engineers.

Shared Cultural Discovery

Staff share a personalised ‘Acknowledgement of Country’ in team meetings highlighting First Nations history from that month, broadening cultural understanding of First Nations communities through participation.

NAIDOC & NRW Participation

We encourage and support staff and senior leaders to build relationships with Elders in our area and actively participate in external events to recognise and celebrate NAIDOC & NRW activities, all year round.

Our RAP Working Group

The RAP Working Group is chaired by Terry Lance, Executive Design, and manages all aspects of developing and delivering the RAP. Responsibility for initiatives in our RAP is shared across the business and we track our progress monthly.

“Our Innovate RAP will keep focus on developing and strengthening relationships, engaging staff and stakeholders in reconciliation, and developing and piloting innovative strategies. It marks our progress and ongoing commitment to reconciliation and an inclusive future. “
